For products to be classified with the GreenSense seal, they must meet all of the following standards:

• Biodegradable
• Non-Acid
• Phosphate Free
• HMIS® numbers of zero or one

GreenSense+ products meet all GreenSense standards plus one or more of these additional standards:

• VOC Compliant
• Petroleum Distillate Free
• No CFC's
• Non-Toxic
• Bio-Enzymatic
• Formulated with Renewable Resources
• Non-Corrosive
• Non-Caustic
• Non-Fuming

The EPA allows safer products to carry the Design for the Environment (DfE) label. As a DfE partner, Continental Research has earned the right to display the DfE logo on recognized products. When you see the DfE logo on a product, it means that the DfE scientific review team has screened each ingredient for potential human health and environmental effects and the product contains only those ingredients that pose the least concern among chemicals in their class.
